Week three already! It goes so fast, I am already feeling sad thinking of letting these babies go in five weeks time! We get so attached to them. Literally jumping in the whelping pen whenever we have a chance to give the snuggles. And lots of touch happening to expose them to different sensations. It is so important from an early age to help them become confident dogs in later life.

And this week worming was done (well actually that was last week), they tried solids for the first time, & have started toileting on their own without Mummas help.

They are starting to play together & explore more in the whelping pen and have been teething like crazy wanting to chew on anything and everything. Personalities are starting to come through however being a big litter sometimes the quieter ones are the sweetest who just don’t fight for our attention. But don’t stress they all get lots of love, it’s just some are much more forceful with it lol

Maisie

Birth Weight: 360 grams

Current Weight: 2.27kg

Maisie’s Ears are close to opening and has a few teeth through already. She is a beautiful little girl who is super chill & one of our quieter puppies thus far. She is looking like she has a real curl to her coat so we will see in coming weeks but looks as though she may have Franki’s coat from our first litter.

Honey

Birth Weight: 360 grams

Current Weight: 2.22kg

Honey has one top tooth through and her ears are close to opening. So far she is one of the quieter puppies, loves a cuddle but isn’t demanding of our attention. She is super chill & sweet & loves to snuggle into your neck for cuddles. She reminds me of Bear from our first litter.

Mabel

Birth Weight: 430 grams

Current Weight: 2.43kg

Mabel has her canine teeth already & her ears have started to open. She has been pretty chilled this week but still is one of the first to come for a cuddle as she loves to snuggle. She is also obsessed with food & loved trying solids for the first time yesterday.

Coco

Birth Weight: 370 grams

Current Weight: 2.27kg

A strong little girl with a big voice. Her ears are close to opening and she has her canine teeth. Coco is such a sweety but boy does she have a voice. She reminds us of Franki from the first litter at this age as she started barking as soon as her eyes opened & she started to learn about the world. She will eat when she is hungry but happy to leave it if she is full.

Overall a sweet little girl trying to find her way in this big litter!

Astra - Female

Birth Weight: 380 grams

Current Weight: 2.38kg

Her ears are close to opening & she has a few top teeth already through.

Astra, is such a sweetheart. She still isn’t loving the bottle & much prefers to drink from Mum only. But is gaining weight steadily. She is super strong & loves to explore & quite often will go off to find a spot on her own to sleep. But also loves to snuggle with us humans.

Angel - Female

Birth Weight: 240 grams

Current Weight: 1.83kg

Our tiny little Angel. This week she started walking, is teething but no teeth just yet & her ears are close to opening. She LOVES a snuggle but is happy to wait her turn for a snuggle. She took well to trying solids for the first time yesterday.

Rex

Birth Weight: 420 grams

Current Weight: 2.5kg

Ears are close to opening & his canines are now through.

Rex is one of our smaller boys, he is such a sweetie, always the first to come for a cuddle & won’t leave our side when we are doing feeds. He loves a cuddle & is super strong on his feet, and likes to explore the whelping pen. He loved his first try with solid foods & sat there cleaning up the towel for ages.

Percy - Teal Colour Boy

Birth Weight: 490 grams

Current Weight: 2.71kg

One of our biggest boys, Percy is a big sweetheart. His ears have started to open & he has hi canines. He let’s us know if he is hungry but passes out milk drunk easily.

Mac

Birth Weight: 460 grams

Current Weight: 2.72kg

Mac, what can I say?! He is reminding me of Doug from the first litter with his goofiness. A sweet goofiness of course. He will sleep through anything and when everyone wakes for a feed we quite often find him in the corner looking for food but completely in the wrong spot lol Definitely a beautiful goofiness starting to emerge from this big boy who I think will have a big fluffy coat by the looks of those curls coming through.

He has his canines already and his ears are close to opening up.

Odie (now in a grey colour)

Birth Weight: 410 grams

Current Weight: 2.64kg

Odie is such a sweet little boy. His ears are starting to open and he has a few top teeth already. He is so chilled we barely hear from him, but he loves a good snuggle. He loves his food but isn’t a little piggy like a few of the others ;)

Zeus (now in a green/blue colour)

Birth Weight: 500 grams

Current Weight: 2.75kg

Zeus’s ears are so close to opening up and he has both his canine teeth and some bottom teeth. Our chunkiest boy of the litter, he is the first at our feet when it’s time for food. Although he kept walking backwards when it was time to start solids, he was super keen to give them a try.
