Four Weeks Old - Perth F1 Groodles
Half way there already! And calls have just begun to potential furever families. We do have so many who make contact over a 12 month period that we can sometimes overlook an application. This week has been amazing! With puppies really starting to shine. Ears are open & they are finding their voices & really starting to get super playful. Without wanting to jinx anything, this litter really is our most chilled by far overall. Obviously we are only half way there though.
This week we have introduced new toys to help with introducing new textures, sounds & sensations which helps create a well-rounded future family member. They are also doing amazing with their toileting & most of them are already using grass mats which is incredible for their age. Such smart little puppies.
We have a few that love to sleep and a few that like to play & explore whilst the others are sleeping. We have some that look like they have a bit of goofiness to them like our Franki from the first litter. Which is such a beautiful endearing trait to have. These puppies are the ones we usually recommend for older children because they are usually more easily startled so young children can be a lot for them. Younger children usually match up better with the more confident puppies.
However, this is one of the reasons we like to wait before homing as each week we learn a little more about each of them. And it is so important to match families with the perfect puppy to suit their lifestyle & needs.
We have decided to do a little score each week checking in with each puppy in a few different areas. This is to help potential furever families learn more about them. Obviously, these can change as each week they grow in confidence & personalities start to shine through more. But a great indicator on where they are now & where we expect them to be.
Confidence - Out of 10. Now added to each puppy.
10/10 - Being super confident, rarely startled, happy to explore their surrounds. We expect them to be very confident dogs with both people & other dogs. Would make the perfect therapy dog.
7 and under, still a work in progress, may be better suited to families with older children however this will be confirmed in the coming weeks as they can all develop at different rates.
We will be starting to make decisions in the coming weeks and have already started making contact with our long list of applications from the past six months. We have opted for text as emails have been going straight into junk folders. So please keep an eye out as we would hate anyone to miss out. Maisie
Birth Weight: 360 grams
Current Weight: 2.81kg
Confidence Currently - 6/10
Maisie is such a sweet little girl. She often wanders off and finds a spot to nap so is loving her own space & sleep. She is still a little wobbly at times on her feet. We think she may have a personality similar to Franki's, and she is also showing signs of her big sister's coat.
So far, she is happy in her own company and loves her sleep. She does play, of course, but is more subdued compared to her siblings at the moment.
Honey
Birth Weight: 360 grams
Current Weight: 3.18kg
Confidence Currently - 9/10
Honey is a sweet little girl. One of our smaller girls, she has been coming to life when the others fall asleep as she wanders around exploring her surrounds. She is super confident on her feet & was the first one at three weeks and one day to wake up & wander over to the toileting area to go & then put herself back to bed. So she is super intelligent & we can see she will be a quick learner.
Mabel
Birth Weight: 430 grams
Current Weight: 3.21kg
Confidence Currently - 8/10
Mabel has a beautiful sweetness to her & is by far our biggest girl. She is super cuddly but also loves to play, a beautiful combination to make the perfect companion. Confident in most areas already, we expect she will be confident with both other animals & humans.
Coco
Birth Weight: 370 grams
Current Weight: 2.88kg
Confidence Currently - 7.5/10
Little Coco has settled a lot this week. Last week we had lots of noise as she found her voice & her ears opened. But she is getting used to her newfound sight & hearing & is settling well. She loves to play & is loving her human cuddles just as much. Her confidence is growing by the day so it is really too early to tell how confident all round she will be.
Astra - Female

Confidence Currently - 6.5/10
Astra gives Maisie a run for her money for currently being one of our most chilled puppies. She takes a little to warm up after her nap & can be a little weary as she explores her new surrounds however as soon as she gets comfortable she really shines.
Angel - Female
Birth Weight: 240 grams
Current Weight: 2.4kg
Confidence Currently - 7.5/10
Our beautiful tiny Angel! Who is doing amazingly well. He confidence is growing by the day & she is loving exploring her surrounds. She LOVES human snuggles so looking to be a beautiful well rounded puppy.
Rex
Birth Weight: 420 grams
Current Weight: 2.91kg
Confidence Currently - 10/10
Probably our most adventurous puppy thus far. And he made the perfect model this week for photos as we tested different locations, he was so chilled posing for me. Rex is reminding me of Eddie from our first litter. Not only in looks but also in personality. He is loving the new toys & surrounds & is one of the first to start exploring showing the way for the others. So far we are thinking that he will be amazing for an active family as we are sure he will be the one who loves to try new exciting things. But also is super calm & chilled at times just wanting snuggles.
He would we have no doubt make a beautiful therapy dog, as he is already so well rounded & confident.
Percy - Teal Colour Boy
Birth Weight: 490 grams
Current Weight: 3.45kg
Confidence Currently - 7/10
Percy is a sweetheart who has a little goofiness to him, loves his sleep but loves his play. He is sooo much like Bear from our first litter who we see all the time and he is the most beautiful dog. He is winning our daughter’s heart who wants him to stay. But I know he will make a beautiful companion for some lucky family!
Mac
Birth Weight: 460 grams
Current Weight: 3.5kg
Confidence Currently - 7.5/10
A big goofy boy who is pretty confident across the board. Although a little weary at times as he explores new things, he is quick to warm up. He loves his siblings as much as he loves his human cuddles.
Odie (now in a grey colour)
Birth Weight: 410 grams
Current Weight: 3.18kg
Confidence Currently - 6/10
Odie is our quietest boy who is currently pretty happy in his own company but also loves interaction with both human and his siblings. A little weary still with new things but he is getting more confident each day.
Zeus (now in a green/blue colour)
